Protest organizer just said police will move in around midnight. First priority is getting kids out of here. He also said he wants @DenverPolice to know a man is still chained to the statue in front of the Capitol - so they don't tear gas that area.
(Councilman Hinds) is here, too. His response when asked why he's here: "This is my district. These are my people."
Denver Police haven't moved in yet. People are definitely getting ready - putting on goggles in case of tear gas and head on a swivel warning all of us out here any little movement they see.
DenverPolice SWAT vehicles can be seen near the Capitol. A man documenting everything while on rollerblades just said "there's as many of them (officers) as there are protesters." There's movement among this crowd.
