10 month agoNot a female, but a long-haired male, with minor injuries consistent with having been in a crash. He denied being the driver, but officers found info that linked him to the vehicle. Ofc. Alan Peil arrested him for DUI & Careless Driving. Good work, Sgt. Maldonado and Ofc. Peil

Arvada Officers responded to shots fired in the 7800 block of Everett Way. Officers arrived, the scene was secured, two separate shooting victims were located in separate medical facilities. Non-life-threatening injuries. The investigation is ongoing. No ongoing community concern

10 month agoProtest organizer just said police will move in around midnight. First priority is getting kids out of here. He also said he wants @DenverPolice to know a man is still chained to the statue in front of the Capitol - so they don't tear gas that area.

10 month agoDenver Police haven't moved in yet. People are definitely getting ready - putting on goggles in case of tear gas and head on a swivel warning all of us out here any little movement they see.
10 month agoDenverPolice SWAT vehicles can be seen near the Capitol. A man documenting everything while on rollerblades just said "there's as many of them (officers) as there are protesters." There's movement among this crowd.
10 month agoSecond time protesters are marching today - at least since we got out here . Protesters just stopped at 20th and Champa to kneel and stay silent for 8 min 46 sec (time George Floyd was held down). That was followed by loud cheers and lots of honking.
