1 year agoSACFD crews are on scene of a grass fire near 53rd & Colorado Blvd. Fire spread to multiple semi trailers catching fire. Currently no injuries and no structures threatened. ACFR and Platte Valley Ambulance providing mutual aid

1 year agoFirefighters were able to quickly extinguish a fire in the basement of a home near E Hampden Rd and S Dahlia St in Cherry Hills Village. Residents and their pets were able to safely evacuate when their smokealarms sounded. Investigators on scene

1 year agoColorado Springs Police are investigating what led up to a shooting seriously injuring one person at an apartment complex near downtown. Police responded to a shooting at the Aspen Creek Apartments, near Brookside and S. Nevada
Colorado Springs Police tell they first responded to this shooting at the Aspen Creek Apartments off of East Brookside Street around 3:19am. As they arrived, they found one person shot. This person, who has not been named, has serious injuries
